April Newsletter

Dear students,

Welcome back to the summer term! Hope you all had a good Easter break. The start dates for the new term are as follows:

• Towcester - Saturday 25th April
• Brackley - Tuesday 29th April
• Towcester - Wednesday 30th April
• Middleton Cheney - Thursday 1st May
• Individual Lessons - begin Saturday 3rd May, as previously announced.

Half term dates for this term are as follows:

• Towcester - Closed Saturday 24th & 31st May
• Brackley - Closed Tuesday 27th May
• Towcester - Closed Wednesday 28th May
• Middleton Cheney - Thursday 29th May

We have a number of summer concerts and performances. The following dates have been confirmed, and we will have more details closer to the time. If you are unable to make any of these dates, please let us know as soon as possible.

Midsummer Music - Friday 20th June

Towcester Town Hall 7.30 - 10.30pm
Several bands will be selected to play.

National Rock & Pop Festival - Thursday and Friday 10th and 11th July

NEC in Birmingham
Several bands will be selected to play in the evening concerts. However, we would like to take as many students as possible to participate in the day's workshop, and support the Rockschool band's performances.

The Stables - Sunday 13th July

The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes
End of year concert, in which all bands will have an opportunity to perform.

Rockschools sends out regular newsletters - at least once a half-term. If anyone is not receiving these, information is available on the website. To update your email addresses, or enquire about concert dates, please email rosmiles@rockschools.co.uk.
